By installing or using the Efekti desktop app or the Efekti Twitch Extension ("Efekti"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Efekti. Efekti is operated by Arkkis (Joni Nieminen). Contact: efekticamera@outlook.com.
Efekti lets a Twitch streamer's viewers trigger live visual effects on the streamer's webcam using Twitch Channel Points or Bits. Effects are cosmetic, run on the streamer's own computer, and are applied to the streamer's video feed.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Efekti for streaming. You may not resell, rent, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the proprietary parts of Efekti, or use it unlawfully. Third-party open-source components are licensed under their own terms (see the app's third-party notices).
Efekti runs on Twitch and is subject to Twitch's Terms of Service. Bits and Channel Points are operated entirely by Twitch. We do not process payments, hold funds, or issue refunds for Bits — any Bits questions, refunds, or chargebacks are handled by Twitch under Twitch's terms. Using Bits to trigger an effect delivers a cosmetic digital good to the live stream; it grants no other goods, money, or advantage.
You are responsible for what appears on your stream. Do not use Efekti to create or display unlawful, infringing, harassing, or abusive content, and comply with Twitch's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service at all times. We may suspend access for misuse.
Efekti is provided on a best-effort basis. We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The app may download updates automatically.
Efekti is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of Bits, revenue, data, or stream time, arising from your use of Efekti.

We will update this page and its effective date whenever these Terms change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
